Lost Springs Ranch

We are restoring and improving the land by planting native plants of this area in appropriate locations. We have planted quite a few plants, including Chinquapin Oak, Bigtooth Maple, Escarpment Black Cherry, Bald Cypress, Texas Smoketree, Texas Madrone, Blanco Crabapple, Redbud, Buckthorn, Texas Barberry and others.

Wildlife & Biodiversity Easements

Under a conservation easement, the landowner retains the legal title to the property and determines the types of land uses to continue (ranching, farming, right to build a home, etc.) and also determines the type of land-use restrictions.
